Elevation Discs Arowana - ecoFLEX
Elevation Discs Arowana - ecoFLEX
About the disc:
This run's feel: Super grippy, and their stiffest run yet for extra assurance on full power throws or push putts (but don't worry, it can still easily bend in half)
Elevation disc golf's second putter, the Arowana, aims to be a more overstable counterpart to the popular Koi. The added stability makes this an exceptional driving putter, and an approach disc you can trust even in windy conditions. Beyond that, the slight fade is perfect for players who prefer an overstable finish on their putts, but still want something that is glidey enough for those long circle 2 looks.
Speed: 3
Glide: 3
Turn: -1
Fade: 2
PDGA approved.
About the plastic:
Their ecoFLEX rubber is made of vulcanized natural rubber, with up to 30% recycled material made of scrap from medical industry manufacturing such as rubber gloves, or stoppers. In other words, every 1,000 discs they produce prevents 10,000 rubber gloves that did not meet manufacturing standards from ending up in the world's landfills. Although it uses recycled material, it is extremely durable due to the strong and flexible nature of vulcanized natural rubber. It is also super grippy (think pink eraser or a new shoe sole) and their stiffest material to date making it easy to pick up and start using right away, while still maintaining a flex that absorbs impact.
